Things You May Not Know About Me
- I was the Comptroller of Bourbonnais for the Day in the late 80s (via Cub Scouts pack 324)
- I received a “bronze” overall medal in the Cub Scout Olympics back in….eh ’87?
- I received the game ball in a Little League game by driving in the winning RBI
- I played soccer from the time I was 8 until I was a Senior in high school…where I ceremoniously took off my shirt and threw it on the center line, after a game, in protest of not getting enough playing time….only to have my mom yell at me to “PICK THAT UP!”
- Was “Employee of the Month” at Burger King in 1997
- I was in the local newspaper twice for Fire Prevention week in ’85 and something to do with Cub Scouts
- I was in a skateboarder gang…for like a day (just because I did some STUPID handshake…I didn’t even know how to skateboard)
- I can’t remember when I started loving Notre Dame football, but I’m pretty sure, next to confessing that JESUS IS LORD…it’s a requirement to get to Heaven
- I considered myself a blonde for most of my life, until I came to the realization that “dirty blonde” was just a way for someone to convince himself that their hair is not “technically” brown
